Mr. McKnight has been a legal practitioner at the private bar engaging in both complex civil and criminal litigation both in Jamaica and in Antigua and Barbuda for the last eight years. Additionally. McKnight possess a certification in Data Protection, and is trained High Court Mediator. Albeit, being new to the aviation industry and sector, thus far Mr. McKnight in his new role has assisted in the gazetting of the Flight Safety Regulations for the ECCAA Member States, provided legal advice on the certification process of the Barbuda International Airport, assisting the ECCAA States to update their treaty obligations under the ICAO, and in the Air Operators Certification for the Air Operators such as Liat 20, Sunrise Dominica Antigua Limited and Dowden Aviation. He is very enthusiastic about the aviation sector and is very determined to see the Caribbean regions foster and develop greatly within industry.
